PasteDeck (the “App”) is provided by its developer (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.
PasteDeck is a clipboard-history utility for macOS. To display, search, organize, and reuse content you copy, the App processes clipboard text, rich text, links, colors, images, and file references locally on your Mac.
Clipboard records may include the time copied, source application name and bundle identifier, file paths, favorite status, and collection information. This information is used only to provide the App’s local features.
Clipboard history, images, rich-text assets, favorite collections, excluded-application lists, retention preferences, and other settings are stored in the App sandbox and local UserDefaults.
The App provides no account or cloud-sync service. It does not upload clipboard content, files, usage history, or preferences to us or any third party. We cannot access this data remotely.
The App ignores clipboard items marked by their source as concealed, transient, or automatically generated, and recognizes private clipboard markers used by some password managers. 1Password, Bitwarden, KeePassXC, and Apple Passwords are excluded by default. You can exclude additional source applications in Settings.
Applications handle clipboard data in different ways. Do not rely solely on automatic filtering to protect confidential information; exclude other sensitive applications in PasteDeck Settings when needed.
The App uses the following system capabilities only when required for the relevant feature:
PasteDeck does not monitor or record keyboard input, read another application’s accessibility interface, or send paste actions without an explicit record selection. Declining Accessibility permission does not affect clipboard history, search, favorites, or Copy Mode.
PasteDeck uses Apple’s StoreKit services to retrieve product information and localized prices, process annual subscriptions and one-time lifetime purchases, and verify, restore, and update purchase entitlements. These services communicate with Apple. Apple handles payment and any required Apple Account authentication under its own terms and privacy policy. PasteDeck’s developer does not receive your payment-card number, bank details, or Apple Account password.
The App uses purchase information made available by StoreKit, such as product identifiers, verified transaction information, subscription expiration and renewal status, revocations, and applicable billing grace periods, to determine which Pro features are available. PasteDeck does not send this purchase information to a developer-operated server and does not use a separate purchase server or transaction-analytics service.
Clipboard content, copied files and file references, clipboard history, favorites, and local settings are not sent to Apple or to PasteDeck’s developer as part of purchasing or restoring Pro. Clipboard data continues to be processed and stored locally on your Mac. The App contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, Firebase, or third-party crash-reporting service. We do not sell or rent your clipboard content or personal information.

购买或恢复 Pro 不会将剪贴板内容、复制的文件与文件引用、剪贴板历史、收藏或本地设置发送给 Apple 或 PasteDeck 开发者。剪贴板数据继续只在你的 Mac 上本地处理和保存。应用不包含广告 SDK、第三方分析 SDK、Firebase 或第三方崩溃报告服务。我们不会出售或出租你的剪贴板内容或个人信息。
You can set a maximum history size and an automatic retention period. Favorite records remain until you remove them from favorites or delete them.
You can delete individual records or clear all non-favorite records in the App. Uninstalling the App removes local data in its sandbox. Accessibility permission and login-item status can also be managed in macOS System Settings.
The App is not directed to children and does not intentionally collect personal information from children. Minors should use the App with the consent and guidance of a guardian.
We may update this policy for product, legal, regulatory, or App Review reasons. Updates will be posted on this page. Where required by law, we will obtain appropriate consent before processing information.
